Our Teachers

Get to know our teachers

Each of our lead teachers have either a college degree or equivalent training and years of experience in Early Childhood Education. They have the knowledge and skill to conduct long range curricular planning and implement the curriculum in large groups and individualized learning segments. Beyond all that, our teachers have the knowledge and experience to nurture young learners, manage classroom behaviors, and assess our young learners’ progress with love and gentleness. All our teachers are Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified and complete a course on Recognizing, Reporting and Responding to Child Abuse and Neglect.

Our Wonderful Teachers

Robin Pope | Director

Hi, My name is Robin Pope, and I'm the new director of LLVP. I recently retired from over 35 years of teaching/working in education. James Madison University was an amazing place to earn my bachelor's degree in special education, and have loved my years of teaching my special needs students. My husband and I have three grown children, and soon to be four grandchildren. I enjoyed my years of teaching, but am excited to start the adventure of leading the teachers and helping the students of LLVP to grow in learning and faith.

Erin Fano

Hi, I'm Erin Fano and I’m the lead teacher for our 3 year old class. This will be my sixth year in our 3s class and I am super excited for the new adventures ahead this year. I am married and have two sons, 12 and 10, and have lived in Gainesville for five years. When I'm not making crazy science projects or singing silly songs at Little Lambs, I enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling (I LOVE the beach!). I especially love teaching our three year olds!

Carrie Torman

My name is Carrie Torman and I teach the Jr. Kindergarten Class! I am married and have two children, a boy (16) and a girl (14) who both went to Little Lambs and that’s were my love of this place began! I have been teaching here for the past eight years and I am so grateful to work at such a wonderful place with amazing teachers and children! When I am not at school, I spend time with my family, most likely outdoors! We joke that there isn’t a hobby I am not into! I look forward to meeting everyone soon!

Sarah Hidalgo

Hi!  My name is Sarah Hidalgo. My husband and I live in Bristow with our two children (a son and a daughter).  Our daughter just graduated from Little Lambs, and loved it! I have a BA in Psychology and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). After teaching ESOL for many years, I took some time off to be home with my children when they were little. I am excited to be working in the field of education again, and am grateful to be a part of the Little Lambs family as a teacher assistant in the Dino-Mites class! I love spending time with my family and friends, being outside in nature, reading, and baking.

Lea Dawson

Hi! My name is Lea Dawson and this is my fifth year working at Little Lambs Village Preschool and third year as lead teacher of the four-year-old class. I also had the fun opportunity to teach Pee Wee Fitness for a year at the school. I have four children who all graduated from Little Lambs and I am so happy to be teaching Pre-K again this year! Teaching has always been my passion and I am blessed to be at an awesome school!

Sue Ashman

Hello! My name is Sue Ashman. I have resided in Gainesville for the past 16 years. I am married, have three wonderful daughters (ages 14, 11 and 8), two of whom attended Little Lambs Village Preschool. I previously had the joy of teaching the LLVP Pee Wee Fitness classes and am now super excited to be the Assistant teacher in the three day, three year old class. Outside of Little Lambs, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, running and the beach! I look forward to a great year with your children.

Tiffany Ciulla (Mrs. C)

Hi! I'm Tiffany Ciulla and this is my first year being an assistant teacher at Little Lambs! I was born and raised in Utah, but have lived in Virginia for almost three years with my husband and two children! Our youngest attended Little Lambs during the school year of 23-24.

When I'm not at Little Lambs, I enjoy reading, the gym, spending time with my family, and snuggling our three cats and two dogs! I have taught, coached, and taken care of children for about 15 years now and have enjoyed every moment of it. I feel so grateful and blessed to be here at Little Lambs!
